Bosch MG1CS001 — a latest-generation petrol ECU on the Infineon AURIX (TC2xx/TC3xx). Its protection is multi-layered: a CRC, a digital signature and container checksums — recalculation is mandatory after any change to the dump.

Recalculation is needed after any calibration edit — Stage 1 (RS3: 367 → 430 hp / 480 → 550 Nm), Stage 2 (с downpipe + intake — RS3 470+ hp), Stage 3 (с hybrid turbo — 550+ hp), Pop & Bang / Crackle map (Golf R / RS3 5-cyl burble), Launch control RPM raise, Speed limiter off (vmax), OPF/GPF delete (после 2018), Cold start delete, DSG / DQ381 software optimization (отдельный плагин), Throttle response (eGas adjustment): the checksum no longer matches, and the ECU throws an error or refuses the firmware.
