Bosch MSE6.0 CF MOTO/BENELLI checksum recalculation

Bosch MSE6.0 — after a calibration edit the firmware checksum must be recalculated, otherwise the unit may reject the file.

This unit is found on petrol vehicles BRISTOL, Benelli, CF Moto, GPX, Goes, HJ Moto, KOVE, Lambretta, MITT, Macbor, Moto Morini, PGO, SM SPORT, Segway, Voge, Zontes (2016–2026) — a total of 41 models, among them BRISTOL INVICTUS, Benelli 502 C, CF Moto 450MT, GPX DZ3, Goes COBALT 550, HJ Moto GR.

Recalculation is needed after any calibration edit — Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, Pop & Bang / decat, Launch control, Speed limiter off, OPF/GPF off, Lambda off, DTC removal, Cold start fix: the checksum no longer matches, and the ECU throws an error or refuses the firmware.
