Bosch MG1CS024 — a latest-generation petrol ECU on the Infineon AURIX (TC2xx/TC3xx). Its protection is multi-layered: a CRC, a digital signature and container checksums — recalculation is mandatory after any change to the dump.
This unit is found on бензиновых vehicles BMW, Rolls Royce, Toyota (2016–2019) — a total of 10 models, among them BMW 3-Series, Rolls Royce Phantom, Toyota Supra, BMW X3, BMW X3 M, BMW X4.
Recalculation is needed after any calibration edit — Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, Pop & Bang / decat, Launch control, Speed limiter off, OPF/GPF off, Lambda off, DTC removal, Cold start fix: the checksum no longer matches, and the ECU throws an error or refuses the firmware.
