Bosch MG1CS022 — a latest-generation petrol ECU on the Infineon AURIX (TC2xx/TC3xx). Its protection is multi-layered: a CRC, a digital signature and container checksums — recalculation is mandatory after any change to the dump.

Recalculation is needed after any calibration edit — Stage 1 RS6/RS7 (560 → 700 hp / 700 → 900 Nm), Stage 2 (с downpipes + intake — 750 hp), Stage 3 (upgraded turbos — 900+ hp), Bentley CGT Stage 1 (635 → 720 hp), OPF removal, Speed limiter off, Launch control / Race start, Anti-lag map (Stage 2+), Crackle map / overrun pops, DSG / PDK / 8-spd software: the checksum no longer matches, and the ECU throws an error or refuses the firmware.
