Bosch MG1CS003 — a latest-generation petrol ECU on the Infineon AURIX (TC2xx/TC3xx). Its protection is multi-layered: a CRC, a digital signature and container checksums — recalculation is mandatory after any change to the dump.
This unit is found on бензиновых vehicles BMW (2015–2019) — a total of 14 models, among them BMW 1-Series, BMW 2-Series, BMW 3-Series, BMW 3-Series GT, BMW 4-Series, BMW 4-Series Cabrio.
Recalculation is needed after any calibration edit — Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, Pop & Bang / decat, Launch control, Speed limiter off, OPF/GPF off, Lambda off, DTC removal, Cold start fix: the checksum no longer matches, and the ECU throws an error or refuses the firmware.
