Bosch MG1CS001 — a latest-generation petrol ECU on the Infineon AURIX (TC2xx/TC3xx). Its protection is multi-layered: a CRC, a digital signature and container checksums — recalculation is mandatory after any change to the dump.
This unit is found on бензиновых vehicles Audi, Cupra, Seat, Skoda, Volkswagen (2018–2019) — a total of 32 models, among them Audi A1, Cupra Ateca, Seat Ateca, Skoda Karoq, Volkswagen Arteon, Audi A3.
Recalculation is needed after any calibration edit — Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, Pop & Bang / decat, Launch control, Speed limiter off, OPF/GPF off, Lambda off, DTC removal, Cold start fix: the checksum no longer matches, and the ECU throws an error or refuses the firmware.
