Bosch MEV17.4.2 — after a calibration edit the firmware checksum must be recalculated, otherwise the unit may reject the file.
This unit is found on бензиновых vehicles Citroen, Peugeot (2010–2014) — a total of 10 models, among them Citroen C3 Picasso, Peugeot 2008, Citroen C4, Citroen DS3, Citroen DS4, Peugeot 208.
Recalculation is needed after any calibration edit — Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, Pop & Bang / decat, Launch control, Speed limiter off, OPF/GPF off, Lambda off, DTC removal, Cold start fix: the checksum no longer matches, and the ECU throws an error or refuses the firmware.
