Bosch MEV17.2.2 — after a calibration edit the firmware checksum must be recalculated, otherwise the unit may reject the file.
This unit is found on бензиновых vehicles Mini (2009–2015) — a total of 12 models, among them Mini Cooper, Mini Cooper Clubman, Mini Cooper Countryman, Mini Cooper Countryman ALL4, Mini Cooper Paceman, Mini Cooper Paceman ALL4.
Recalculation is needed after any calibration edit — Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, Pop & Bang / decat, Launch control, Speed limiter off, OPF/GPF off, Lambda off, DTC removal, Cold start fix: the checksum no longer matches, and the ECU throws an error or refuses the firmware.
