Bosch MEDV17.4 — after a calibration edit the firmware checksum must be recalculated, otherwise the unit may reject the file.
This unit is found on бензиновых vehicles Citroen, Opel, Peugeot (2007–2017) — a total of 16 models, among them Citroen C4, Opel Insignia, Peugeot 207, Citroen C4 Coupe, Citroen C4 Grand Picasso, Citroen C4 Picasso.
Recalculation is needed after any calibration edit — Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, Pop & Bang / decat, Launch control, Speed limiter off, OPF/GPF off, Lambda off, DTC removal, Cold start fix: the checksum no longer matches, and the ECU throws an error or refuses the firmware.
