Bosch MED17.9.3 — a direct-injection petrol ECU on the TriCore core. The flash is encrypted and RSA-signed; the calibration checksums are recalculated separately after tuning.
This unit is found on бензиновых vehicles ARIEL, Honda (2015–2022) — a total of 5 models, among them ARIEL Atom 4, Honda Civic, Honda Civic Type-R, Honda Crider, Honda Ling Pai.
Recalculation is needed after any calibration edit — Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, Pop & Bang / decat, Launch control, Speed limiter off, OPF/GPF off, Lambda off, DTC removal, Cold start fix: the checksum no longer matches, and the ECU throws an error or refuses the firmware.
