Bosch ME7.6.4 — after a calibration edit the firmware checksum must be recalculated, otherwise the unit may reject the file.
This unit is found on petrol vehicles Opel (2007–2012) — a total of 4 models, among them Opel Corsa, Opel Insignia, Opel Zafira, Opel Zafira Tourer.
Recalculation is needed after any calibration edit — Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, Pop & Bang / decat, Launch control, Speed limiter off, OPF/GPF off, Lambda off, DTC removal, Cold start fix: the checksum no longer matches, and the ECU throws an error or refuses the firmware.
