Bosch ME7.4.4 — after a calibration edit the firmware checksum must be recalculated, otherwise the unit may reject the file.
This unit is found on бензиновых vehicles Citroen, Peugeot (2000–2012) — a total of 18 models, among them Citroen Berlingo, Peugeot 206, Citroen C3, Citroen C3 Pluriel, Citroen C4, Citroen C4 Coupe.
Recalculation is needed after any calibration edit — Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, Pop & Bang / decat, Launch control, Speed limiter off, OPF/GPF off, Lambda off, DTC removal, Cold start fix: the checksum no longer matches, and the ECU throws an error or refuses the firmware.
Upload the modified file (MOD) and the original (ORI) — the tool compares them, finds the affected regions and recalculates only the required checksums, leaving the rest of the calibration untouched.
