Bosch MD1CS089 — a latest-generation diesel ECU on the Infineon AURIX (TC2xx/TC3xx). Its protection is multi-layered: a calibration CRC, a digital signature and container checksums — recalculation is mandatory after any change to the dump.
This unit is found on дизельных vehicles Baic, Baw, DR Automobiles, EVO, Foton, ICHX, Isuzu, JAC Motors, JIM, JMC, Saic (2017–2023) — a total of 15 models, among them Baic Beijing BJ40, Baw BJ20, DR Automobiles DR PK8, EVO Cross4, Foton Sauvana, ICHX K2.
Recalculation is needed after any calibration edit — Stage 1, Stage 2, DPF off, EGR off, AdBlue/SCR off, DTC removal, Flap off, Lambda off, Speed limiter off, Torque monitor off, Hot start fix: the checksum no longer matches, and the ECU throws an error or refuses the firmware.
