Bosch MD1CS003 — a latest-generation diesel ECU on the Infineon AURIX (TC2xx/TC3xx). Its protection is multi-layered: a calibration CRC, a digital signature and container checksums — recalculation is mandatory after any change to the dump.
This unit is found on дизельных vehicles Citroen, Ds Automobiles, Opel, Peugeot, Toyota (2018–2020) — a total of 34 models, among them Citroen Berlingo, Ds Automobiles DS3 Crossback, Opel Astra, Peugeot 2008, Toyota Proace, Citroen C3.
Recalculation is needed after any calibration edit — Stage 1, Stage 2, DPF off, EGR off, AdBlue/SCR off, DTC removal, Flap off, Lambda off, Speed limiter off, Torque monitor off, Hot start fix: the checksum no longer matches, and the ECU throws an error or refuses the firmware.
