Bosch MD1CP002 — a latest-generation diesel ECU on the Infineon AURIX (TC2xx/TC3xx). Its protection is multi-layered: a calibration CRC, a digital signature and container checksums — recalculation is mandatory after any change to the dump.
This unit is found on дизельных vehicles Alpina, BMW (2015–2020) — a total of 12 models, among them Alpina D5 S, BMW 3-Series, Alpina XD3, Alpina XD4, BMW 5-Series, BMW 6-Series Gran Turismo.
Recalculation is needed after any calibration edit — Stage 1, Stage 2, DPF off, EGR off, AdBlue/SCR off, DTC removal, Flap off, Lambda off, Speed limiter off, Torque monitor off, Hot start fix: the checksum no longer matches, and the ECU throws an error or refuses the firmware.
