Bosch MD1CP002 — a latest-generation diesel ECU on the Infineon AURIX (TC2xx/TC3xx). Its protection is multi-layered: a calibration CRC, a digital signature and container checksums — recalculation is mandatory after any change to the dump.

Recalculation is needed after any calibration edit — Stage 1 (286 → 360 hp / 620 → 720 Nm), Stage 2 (с downpipe — 400 hp), AdBlue/SCR off (обязательно — все эти модели с AdBlue), DPF off (физический + калибровочный), EGR off, NOx adapter (двойной — pre/post), DTC removal (P204F/P229F/P11AA), Throttle valve disable, Speed limiter off, Hot start fix: the checksum no longer matches, and the ECU throws an error or refuses the firmware.
