Bosch M798 — after a calibration edit the firmware checksum must be recalculated, otherwise the unit may reject the file.
This unit is found on бензиновых vehicles Hyundai, Kia (2002–2011) — a total of 19 models, among them Hyundai Accent, Kia Carens, Hyundai Avante, Hyundai Elantra, Hyundai Getz, Hyundai I10.
Recalculation is needed after any calibration edit — Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, Pop & Bang / decat, Launch control, Speed limiter off, OPF/GPF off, Lambda off, DTC removal, Cold start fix: the checksum no longer matches, and the ECU throws an error or refuses the firmware.
