Bosch ME7.3.1 — after a calibration edit the firmware checksum must be recalculated, otherwise the unit may reject the file.
This unit is found on бензиновых vehicles Alfa Romeo, FIAT, Lancia (1998–2005) — a total of 25 models, among them Alfa Romeo 147, FIAT Bravo, Lancia Musa, Alfa Romeo 156, Alfa Romeo 166, Alfa Romeo GT.
Recalculation is needed after any calibration edit — Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, Pop & Bang / decat, Launch control, Speed limiter off, OPF/GPF off, Lambda off, DTC removal, Cold start fix: the checksum no longer matches, and the ECU throws an error or refuses the firmware.
