Bosch EDC15C7 — a classic Common Rail diesel ECU on the ST10/C167 core. It flashes over OBD, and its polynomial checksums are recalculated without any particular difficulty.
This unit is found on дизельных vehicles Alfa Romeo, FIAT, Lancia (1999–2003) — a total of 18 models, among them Alfa Romeo 147, FIAT Bravo, Lancia Lybra, Alfa Romeo 156, Alfa Romeo 166, FIAT Doblo.
Recalculation is needed after any calibration edit — Stage 1, Stage 2, DPF off, EGR off, AdBlue/SCR off, DTC removal, Flap off, Lambda off, Speed limiter off, Torque monitor off, Hot start fix: the checksum no longer matches, and the ECU throws an error or refuses the firmware.
