Bosch EDC15 — a classic Common Rail diesel ECU on the ST10/C167 core. It flashes over OBD, and its polynomial checksums are recalculated without any particular difficulty.
This unit is found on дизельных vehicles BMW, Chevrolet, Holden, Opel, Saab, Saturn, Vauxhall (1995–2004) — a total of 31 models, among them BMW 3-Series, Chevrolet Astra, Holden Astra, Opel Astra, Saab 93, Saturn Astra.
Recalculation is needed after any calibration edit — Stage 1, Stage 2, DPF off, EGR off, AdBlue/SCR off, DTC removal, Flap off, Lambda off, Speed limiter off, Torque monitor off, Hot start fix: the checksum no longer matches, and the ECU throws an error or refuses the firmware.
