ECU cloning transfers the immobiliser data and identifiers from the original engine control unit into a donor one. After the operation a used ECU responds to the factory keys, BCM and CAS of the receiving car, so there is no need to code it with dealer equipment. Cloning is the way out when the board is beyond repair, flooded or burnt, and also when the original ECU still reads but no longer starts. Everything is done online from two dumps: upload the donor file and the source file — analysis and compatibility check are free, and the ready file with recalculated checksums is downloaded in your portal account.
