Siemens (Continental) SID301 — a Siemens/Continental diesel ECU (Ford/PSA/Volvo) with closed protection; the calibration checksums are recalculated after the dump is edited.
Recalculation is needed after any calibration edit — Stage 1, Stage 2, DPF off, EGR off, AdBlue/SCR off, DTC removal, Flap off, Lambda off, Speed limiter off, Torque monitor off, Hot start fix: the checksum no longer matches, and the ECU throws an error or refuses the firmware.
