Denso R2AX — an ECU for Toyota, Lexus, Mazda and Subaru on the Renesas SH/RH850 core. After a calibration edit the firmware checksum must be recalculated.

Recalculation is needed after any calibration edit — Stage 1, Stage 2, DPF off, EGR off, AdBlue/SCR off, DTC removal, Flap off, Lambda off, Speed limiter off, Torque monitor off, Hot start fix: the checksum no longer matches, and the ECU throws an error or refuses the firmware.
